Manos Greek Mural

I completed the Greek Mural in the early summer of 2005. Click here and check out the video below. For a template, I found a picture of Ikaria, Greece then flipped it as an example for both sides of the painting. I styled the right side (Panel 4) after Samos Island, including the Samos Hotel. I had dreamt of doing a landscape, but I had no idea how to bring my own unique view to a landscape. To start, I approached Manos Paschalis of Manos Greek Restaurant . The project took 7 1/2 months to complete. Up until this mural I hadn’t painted trees, houses, grass, water, clouds or most of what you see. I learned on the fly and had a challenging, good time. Big thanks to Manos and their staff for giving me a great opportunity! Big props!
